A very warm welcome to Charlotte Lake, joining the CSCC team for 2026, with two separate roles, deputy series representative for our Verum Builders New Millennium and Liqui Moly Slicks Series' and also comprehensive event social media at our Spa, Brands Britannia and Snetterton Breckland Trophy meetings.

Charlotte joined us for the first time at our Brands Hatch and Snetterton rounds last season, providing excellent social media coverage of both events, complete with photos and short videos.

In her role as deputy for Slicks and New Millennium, Charlotte will help with their promotion through the year and when series representatives Damian Hirst and Toby Harris are unavailable at race meetings.

To avoid confusion, we should add that the CSCC team is blessed with not one, but two Charlotte's, helping us both behind the scenes. Those of you following our Instagram and many Facebook groups will have noticed an increase in the number of postings recently, thanks to committee member Charlotte Rushforth. In addition, Miss Rushforth is also making a real difference to the Trackday Solutions Puma Cup and Fox Transport Turbo Tin Tops series'.

Back to Charlotte Lake, we asked her to tell us a little about herself:

I have been involved in motorsport since 2023, when I decided I no longer wanted to pursue musical theatre professionally. I did work experience with a well-known British GT team, which opened doors for me to work with the GT Cup Championship doing social media and race meeting assistance. Moving into my third season with them, I’ll be focusing more on the photography side of things. I’m also excited to be more involved with the CSCC this year, especially with the Slicks and the New Millennium series, having previously covered a number of race weekends on social media.

I currently work full-time in social media and digital marketing for a motorbike dealership. Having taken an interest in motorcycles over the past year, this was a perfect move after four years in the logistics industry. I love being a pillion on my partner's KTM 1290 SuperDuke R, I plan on completing my DAS this year, once I turn 24.

Locally, I love taking part in amateur dramatics. I’ve trained professionally in musical theatre, singing and dancing since I was a child, this was going to be my career until the pandemic happened. I’ve since had the opportunity to take part in some brilliant productions; two personal highlights were playing Irene Roth in the Gershwin classic, Crazy for You and Rizzo in Grease.
