2026 Ramair BMW Champion: Niall Bradley

The 2026 Ramair BMW Championship crowned its champion last month, with Niall Bradley in his BMW M3 E46 securing the overall title. After a season of hard-fought racing and plenty of close competition, Bradley had done enough at the penultimate round at Oulton Park to put the title beyond reach. Whilst he could have sat out the last round, he reinforced his position with a well-deserved 2nd overall at Silverstone GP on Sunday 6th September.
Silverstone Spectacular
The Championship finale at Silverstone on the GP circuit delivered a riveting race as the BMWs shared the track with our New Millennium Series, on a split-start grid. Nathan Wells driving his BMW M3 E46 GTR, led from pole and tussled with Bradley (as they have all season) throughout the 40-minute race. After nearly 70 miles of racing Wells set the fastest lap and just did enough to take the chequered flag, just 1.367 seconds ahead of Bradley. Jason West was a little way behind to take 3rd and our defending 2025 Champion, Graham Crowhurst, produced a strong drive and came home in 4th place, winning Class B.

Antony Unitt and Bryan Bransom were next across the line, and Russell Dack took second in Class B in his BMW Compact, narrowly holding off James Card, with just 0.128 seconds separating the pair at the chequered flag. Callum Noble, meanwhile, secured fifth in Class A, while Dave Avis and Terry Emberson completed the Class B finishers. Daniel Mehmet put in a determined performance in his MINI Cooper S R53 and Peter Miller rounded out the BMW finishers in his 325ti Compact. Sadly, it wasn't plain sailing for everyone, with retirements from Luke Yeomans & Klaas Kooiker.
With Wells and Bradley headlining, the BMWs provided plenty of close racing around the Silverstone GP circuit, rounding off an action-packed weekend for the championship. They all entertained us superbly!

John Hammersley - Championship Co-ordinator and CSCC Chairman
"We’ve been privileged to see some fantastic, hard fought but fair racing around some of the UK’s premier circuits during this year's championship. Full credit to our loyal supporters who have put on a great show for the 2026 season. More of the same to come for 2027!"
Niall Bradley - 2026 Ramair BMW Champion
“Winning the BMW Championship means a huge amount to me. I’ve been racing for seven years and have been trying to win an overall championship for a long time, so to finally achieve it is a brilliant feeling.
It’s been a fantastic season with some really close racing and strong competition throughout. There have definitely been some highs and lows along the way, which makes finally getting the championship over the line even more rewarding.
A massive thank you to everyone who has helped and supported me throughout the season, particularly my family and the people behind the scenes who put so much time into keeping the car competitive and reliable.
I’ve really enjoyed racing with the CSCC and the BMW competitors this year. To finish the season as overall champion is something I’m extremely proud of.”
