New Awards Event

We may only be at the mid-season point of the calendar, but considerable planning has gone into celebrating the end of the 2026 season. This time, we're changing things up, with a new look, more affordable guest options and at a different venue, time and date. Bookings are open right now for members, officials and friends of the club. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 23rd January 2027. https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/awards

For many years, the CSCC has put on a high-quality, November dinner/dance with awards. This has always featured a late night finish, with drinks, food, entertainment and guest speaker included. Those who attended generally loved it, but it came at a considerable financial cost to all club members and fell at the very time of year when the office was in the thick of finalising regulations, calendar and wanting to open registrations for the next year. Contrary to what a few may think, the office is every bit as busy in the off-season!

We therefore have an exciting new event to celebrate the 2026 season, with an aim to increase the number of members and guests attending, whilst not making a loss.

  • The British Motor Museum, at Gaydon, Warwickshire will host us, within its spacious conference room, with two large screens to better enjoy the videos we plan to show. Every ticket includes complimentary entry to the museum, with over 400 cars on display. https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/

  • Two ticket choices, including a cheaper option for those whose main focus is on their moment in the spotlight, collecting an award in front of friends, family and team. The full ticket option includes a wonderful, 3 course lunch and coffee.

  • The awards part of the event will be more interesting and interactive.

  • A dedicated photography area, so you can capture memories with high-quality, well-lit photographs.

  • By moving the event to January 2027, the office can better focus on the next seasons preparations and it gets us away from Christmas party season.

  • Changing to a daytime event reduces the need for many of you to have to stay overnight in a hotel, or find child/pet care. Those who love the late-night social side can of course still meet up with mates.

  • We still want this event to be special and that comes with dressing up and looking at our best, but we understand you also want to be comfortable enough to look around the museum, therefore we have very slightly relaxed the dress code this year. Smart suits and dresses please, but no need to wear a tie.

  • An area of the spacious car park for those wanting to display their special car.

  • The AGM moves to Castle Combe Circuit, early evening Friday 16th October.
