Our second visit to Donington Park is not far away. If you've not yet entered, it's worth your while doing so by Sunday 7th, as after that the price goes up by £30.
On Sunday 21st June we will have a pair of 2 hour and 1 minute endurance races, plus a 40 minute Adams & Page Swinging 60s race and double-header R-Werks Special Saloons & Modsports races. It's going to be a special and different meeting, with a souvenir drivers sticker designed by Committee member, Lisa Selby, to mark the occasion.
The Modern Interseries race is now full, however, we can accept some reserve entries, all other races have some availability, it would be great to welcome more of you.
Those of you entered in an endurance race will be contacted by the office next week, to confirm which re-fuelling location you would like to use (petrol pumps or pit lane). There will be a separate regulations document covering the re-fuelling and pit requirements in these endurance events, look out for these next week, when the final instructions and entry lists are published.
To answer one common query now, as printed in the NCR, those re-fuelling and providing extinguisher cover in the pit lane need to wear an FIA suit, balaclava and gloves as a minimum. Eye protection is highly recommended. You need to bring your own extinguisher.
If you opt for fuel station re-fuelling then you are already covered, as the driver is the one dispensing the petrol and Marshals provide fire cover.
