Press Release: A classic partnership confirmed for 2025 season.
Classic restorations and historic race car preparation specialists, Midland Classic Restorations, has partnered with the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC). They have become the 2025 title sponsor of the club’s well established Classic K Series, which caters for pre-1966 cars running to FIA Appendix K regulations. The Midland Classic Restorations team have been a familiar sight within the CSCC paddock for many years, so we are pleased they chose to support the series and its members. They, like all CSCC sponsors, help to directly support entry fees and live streaming.
The new partnership was agreed ahead of the CSCC’s attendance at the Race Retro Show at Stoneleigh Park this week, where one of Midland Classic Restorations’ cars were on display on the CSCC stand. The new sponsorship deal will see the Midland Classic Restorations brand featured on every car, as well as within all the CSCC’s marketing materials associated with the Classic K Series.

The Worcestershire based, Midland Classic Restorations, have been a long-time supporter of the CSCC and its Classic K Series, both preparing customer cars to compete within it, in additional to racing several of their own cars as well. In fact, over the past twelve years the company has not missed a season with the CSCC and will again continue to race and support customers in multiple CSCC run series in the 2025.
Dominic Mooney, Managing Director, commented: “Becoming the title sponsor of the Midland Classic Restoration CSCC Classic K Series is a natural fit for us as company. A lot of our customers compete within this paddock and the sponsorship will allow us the opportunity to gain further awareness of our company offering amongst other CSCC members, as well as the wider classic racing market.“
“Over the years the Classic K Series has grown and developed into one of the country’s leading pre-1966 appendix K series, boasting good grids and close racing across all it’s rounds. Our customers past and present have all enjoyed racing within the series, and we are looking forward to our new partnership with the CSCC and opportunities it may bring us in the future.”

First introduced in 2010, the CSCC Midland Classic Restoration Classic K Series caters for pre-1966 cars running to FIA Appendix K regulations. Split over eight classes, including separate classes for MGB and Marcos/Lotus Elan, the series offers a sensible, common-sense attitude to eligibility and scrutineering that has led to strong grids over the past 14 years. The series’ 40-minute pit stop race format continues to be popular with the historic racing fraternity and offers close exciting racing for one or two driver teams.
