Introducing: Paddock Manager

Stress, adrenaline and excitement, yes, the 'paddock parking grand prix' can be daunting at one or two circuits! We are generally blessed with excellent manners and consideration from members, setting up as per the paddock plan. However, when you combine busy grids with a tight paddock, factor in those testing on Friday but not racing until Sunday, private cars and those taking part in multiple races, it's not a surprise that space can occasionally run in short supply.

Therefore, to give members the most positive experience at a CSCC meeting, we have created a new role: CSCC Paddock Manager. This was something we've discussed for some years, but it takes the right kind of person. We have found just the man, meet Vince Moore. Vince blends authority with politeness and common sense, backed up by the Motorsport UK Clerks in the unlikely event he should need to bare his teeth!

Vince will be helping us at selected events, starting with Brands Hatch on 24th/25th May, arriving on the Saturday before many of you arrive: https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/brandshatch
He is a signed-on official, there to help you and the club as a whole. Please work with him to make the paddock space work.
A familiar, friendly face to many, Vince has been around the CSCC for more than ten seasons, as a preparer for a number of Swinging 60s drivers. A former Special Constable and Steward at Twickenham, he has just the skills we are looking for!
Those allocated to the outer paddock will be politely asked to move their private, non-working cars to the rally stage from 18:00 on Saturday. We felt this was a better solution than having to move trailers, or using this as an overflow paddock. Look out for the paddock plan and final instructions on Thursday 14th.
