One of the UK's longest running championships has now joined the CSCC. First started in 1977, the Sprites and Midgets are a welcome addition to the CSCC's classic car formulae.
Drivers with 'Spridgets' that have raced for years in the 40 minute Adams & Page Swinging 60s Series now have the opportunity of two shorter sprint races, at half price (as a second entry at the same meeting). The same is true in reverse, with drivers from the Lackford Engineering Sprites & Midgets being welcome to try our ever popular, all classic, longer races.
The £99 CSCC registration fee will allow members to take part in both categories with no extra registration charge.
To make things easy for existing CSCC drivers to try the championship, a new 'Swinging 60s' class will be introduced, requiring no changes to your car to take part. Draft 2024 regulations will follow later, in December/January.
Long-term friend and supporter of the championship, Robin Lackford has kindly agreed to continue his sponsorship for the new season. Mike Parker continues in his role as championship co-ordinator.
