For the first time the Classic Sports Car Club heads North, across the border to Knockhill, on July 3rd and 4th. Entries are now open for registered CSCC competitors, with our Scottish friends from the SMRC and KMSC able to enter in 7 days time.
We have an innovative programme lined up for you, with a clockwise 30 minute qualifying session and 30 minute pit stop race on Saturday and evening food and drink at the circuit included for drivers. Then on Sunday you will enjoy 30 minutes of anti-clockwise qualifying and a 30 minute pit stop race. All this is priced at just £450. Knockhill is unique among FIA circuits in being able to return in a reverse direction.
Many of you will not have raced here before, so what to expect? Warm hospitality from the local team and Marshals, a challenging, undulating circuit, with good facilities and hard standing in the vast paddocks.
We have commissioned Knockhill and WEC talent, Duncan Vincent and the local team, to keep everyone up to date on social media over the weekend. Look out for video clips and comments through both days, with a highlights video after the event.
Part of the attraction of this circuit is the beautiful scenery that surrounds it, with the Highlands and Lochs just an hour or two away. Camping overnight is permitted and the circuit are kindly allowing race cars and trailers to be left on site, allowing local exploration before returning home.
If this event is like others so far this season we anticipate many races selling out quickly, please do not delay submitting your entry. https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/knockhill
