In just two weeks time we have our next big race meeting, a return to Castle Combe on 2nd/3rd August. The live-streamed Modern & Retro event features 15 of our championships and series, plus a special race for BMW 3 series and a Turbo vs. Tin Tops vs. Puma race. Over 230 of you have entered so far, but we'd love to have more of you.
We have a planned grid walk on each day, allowing the Marshals and spectators to get up close to your cars and chat to drivers. On Saturday it's our Puma Cup and Co-ordSport Tin Tops who have a grid walk, whilst on Sunday it's our special, 50th anniversary race for the BMW 3 Series that get that honour.
As per usual, race entry fees increase by £30 from Monday (21st July), so please enter now, even if you think you may have a problem getting the car ready in time (just talk to us).
Change to start procedure.
In a change to the Supplementary Regulations and on the advice of the Motorsport UK Clerks, all starts will now be a rolling start, with the exception of the Lackford Engineering Midget & Sprite Challenge. Specific details and instructions will be given in the Final Instructions, available next week and in the drivers briefing. This change will help us with recovery and turn-around times.
Testing Please contact Castle Combe circuit directly to book testing, but please note that due to local planning restrictions, the test day is on the Thursday (31st). At the time of writing there were just 15 places remaining: https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/shop/pre-race-testing/
