For the first time in the circuits 51 year history, Knockhill will see night (and day) racing, on Saturday 26th September 2026.
This is only the second time the CSCC will have raced in Scotland, it's a fabulous circuit and all who made the journey in 2021 said it was well worth it.
Exactly which categories will be racing here by day and night, on the clockwise layout, will be revealed in the next couple of months, but we can say that local drivers, with eligible cars will be made very welcome to our event.
The team at Knockhill are thrilled to be working with the Classic Sports Car Club again to bring, what we believe to be, the first-ever night race in Scotland. If the excitement of racing one of the most challenging small circuits in the world is not enough, the darkness element will truly test man and machine as they race with headlights on. We are really looking forward to this great initiative and hope that it will become a regular feature at Knockhill in the future. Stuart Gray, Knockhill Director of Events
Drivers, Marshals and spectators alike will love the chance to explore the track in darkness, after the days racing concludes by early evening. The pits and start/finish line will then be lit, whilst the rest of the track turns pitch black, with just stabs of exhaust flame, glowing brake discs and headlights reaching for the sky at Duffus Dip and Arnold Clark Chicane, breaking the night sky.
