Knockhill Results & Live Stream

So much has already been said about our Knockhill Day & Night race meeting, so let's wrap things up.

We'll start by saying thank you. The circuit team, officials, marshals and commentary team were exceptionally welcoming, it was clear they really wanted us there. Considerable time was spent by all to ensure that our race meeting went off without a hitch. Meetings took place (including early consultation with Annette at Anglesey), night time trials were held, with widespread promotion that included the involvement of Fife Council and full page adverts in Motorsport News. Those nice little touches like a piper in the assembly area and ground-level fireworks (aka smokescreen!) to mark the finish of the night races were appreciated.

This level of interest and involvement is not something we experience at all circuits. It was a long day for many, with some Marshals there for the day, some arriving for the darkness, with a hardcore there for the duration.

Here are just some of the hardworking, behind the scenes officials, including Motorsport UK Clerks, Stewards, Chief Marshal, Driver Liaison, Chief Scrutineer, CSCC Committee and Race Secretary team.

Our members played their part, with some truly superb, clean racing and very few incidents. The various battles between TVR Tuscan and Morgan, Audi TT and Ford Fiesta plus MINI and Caterham were enthralling.

Look out for a race report in this weeks Motorsport News, you can read the online Autosport article now, here. To those of you who supported this meeting, whether CSCC regulars or those Scottish locals new to the club, we believe you made the right choice. Your emails and social posts praising the event, appear to have confirmed this. In truth, we didn't have enough members attend to cover the costs of the event, but by all other metrics it was a success.

The weather played its part, with a moist start, dry day racing and then a good amount of rain during the evening break, just to remind us southerners where we were. Fortunately the rain stopped for all of the night sessions, with a decent crowd including families, turning out for this first ever chance of seeing racing at night here. The numbers exceeded expectations, with food eventually running short in the restaurant, but no complaints were witnessed and the staff were working exceptionally hard.

Race results are on the Smart Timing website, Sportity app, or can be found on our event page (click on results): https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/knockhill

Others who made the long journey up from the deep south were official photographer David Stallard, Videographer Marc Peters (whose highlights video will follow) and Socials lady, Sue Chan-Wyles, who helped fill our Facebook and Instagram with plenty of interesting content.

David Stallard's photography galleries can be found here:

Whilst we always urge you to support David, who is there for you at every track and every session, whatever the weather, 'other photographers are available'. One of these is Flat Out Photography (John Stewart), who captured this awesome night shot below and our article cover photo.

The live stream is split into three parts:

Part 1 Alpha Lexis Law Firm Jaguar Championship race 1 SMRC Scottish Classic Sports & Saloon Championship race 1

Part 2 All other daytime races.

We will return to Knockhill in the future, night racing is something we have done for many years at different tracks, but the CSCC likes to mix things up and offers a different calendar each year. We are working hard to bring you an exciting 2027 line up, with 'something new' once again.
