Happy New Year to you all. In this first look at highlights for the season to come, let's look at one of the most talked about events, Knockhill, live-streamed on Saturday 26th September. Featuring night races (as well as a full programme of day races), for the first time in the circuits 51 year history.

Stuart and Duncan from the circuit were out having a play in the Knockhill Experience Alpine's before Christmas, to see how things might look with reflective corner markers.
Just imagine this with up to 34 cars, travelling at twice this speed!
All races will be live-streamed. Entry fees are likely to be £420 for a typical 30 minute qualifying and 40 minute, pit-stop day race. There will be two, 40 minute night races, one each for modern and classic cars, preceded by 30 minutes untimed night familiarisation. Each night race is likely to be priced at £295.
As well as CSCC series and championships, we also have the Scottish Classic Sports and Saloons Championship, to show us how it's done. Other local drivers, in eligible cars, are welcome to join in for this event. They are invited to contact the CSCC office to discuss what we can offer them with regards to membership and registration. Note that all drivers wishing to take part in our night races will need to have entered with us in a day race too.
These are the CSCC races taking places during the day (sorry, no sports racers or slicks/wets, but all others should slot in nicely):

If you are new to us and would like some guidance as to where your car might fit, please contact the CSCC office. https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/
Detailed regulations will come out in July, but with regards to night running, please take a look in the current NCR, particularly Ch 10. Ap 6. including: 4.10. Competing Vehicles shall have front and rear lighting, brake lights, and direction indicator lights in working order. 4.11. Reflective identification numbers must be displayed in three places: on the forward and each side of the Vehicles. The side numbers must be adequately illuminated and displayed on a flat vertical surface.
All personnel in the pits will be required to wear high vis. A minimum of 2, maximum of 4, forward facing white lights. These do not need to be the original headlights. An LED light bar is acceptable but will count as two of your forward-facing lights.
The CSCC will provide reflective numbers, but those on the doors need to be lit. Retrofitting indicators shouldn't mean sourcing original looms and stalks, a toggle switch and simple Ebay loom 'could' do the job.
Entries will open from late July.
