Spa 3 Hours is open for entries

Entries are now open for the superb Spa 3 Hours race, at the Spa Summer Classic event on 25th/26th June 2021.

The race has sold out in every previous year so please don’t delay if you wish to reserve your place.

The Belgian organisers have opened entries up today, so, as the exclusive promoter for the race in the UK, we are doing the same. We have kept the price the same as the previous two years, £1695, that you can split between two or three drivers.

Paid up members can now enter online, whilst all drivers, regardless of whether they are members or not can use the entry form on our dedicated event page, linked to here.

Please note that entries for our other CSCC races at Spa will open in late February (we will give you notice, don’t worry), the Spa 3 Hours is for classic cars conforming to FIA specifications only.

You may enter and pay now and withdraw for a full refund for any reason all the way up to Friday 6th June, so there is no need to delay. COVID19: The CSCC offers its members protection in the form of a full refund should travel not be possible due to Covid, or the event is cancelled. All the regulations and information about the race can be found here: www.spa3hours.com. and also on the dedicated CSCC Spa page. These websites will be updated as and when information becomes available, so please keep referring back to them nearer the event.

Many of you keen to race at Spa will be wondering how the Brexit situation will have changed your visit to this special place. Requirements for those professionals transporting cars may be different, but for many of you towing your own car the good news is that an international driving permit is not required. An insurance green card is needed for both your tow vehicle and trailer, but this appears to be as simple as contacting your insurance company nearer the time and requesting this extra paperwork.

Where there is still uncertainty is what is required for the race car being towed, we will come back to you with more information over the coming months. At the time of writing it appears that if a race car being towed has a V5, road insurance and a green card then a Carnet is not required (although your spares and tools valued individually above £150 do). We would like to thank those of you who have contacted us with advice and expertise, particularly Chris Tilly, who is now assisting MSUK directly.

We look forward to greeting you in Belgium in June.
