Got your number!

Don't forget that if you wish to keep 'your' race number from last season, you must register by 31st January, no exceptions. After this date, numbers will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. You register via our 'normal' website, not the race booking site: https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/join-the-cscc

If you have already registered and your confirmation showed 'TBC', it's likely because a fellow member was allocated that number last season and we are waiting to see if they will renew before the end of January. We will confirm race numbers in early February, once we have processed registrations received prior to the deadline.
We do know and understand the importance of keeping a cherished number, not to mention the hassle of having to peel numbers off from one race to another. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests and will try to allocate the same number if you are registering for more than one category. However, please understand that with more than 1000 members across 17 different categories, many entering more than one race and the chance of being combined with another category at some point during the season, it is inevitable that we will have number clashes throughout the year.

Champions or drivers of the series can usually use the coveted no.1 and we can reserve your regular number for a season. In situations where we have combined grids, such as Spa, we clearly can't have multiple no. 1's racing around, in which case an alternative number will be allocated.
At each round, race administration will have a stock of fluorescent yellow numbers, black numbers and white backgrounds available to purchase, at close to cost price.

Motorsport UK allow numbers between 1 to 999 only, with no duplicates allowed on track at the same time. Numbers must be regulations sized, either black on a white background and displayed on the bonnet and doors, OR 'reflective' yellow displayed on the windscreen (upper passenger side) and rear side windows.
Please see Motorsport UK NCR Ch 12. App 4. Art 5 and NCR Ch 7. App 10. Art 1 for the correct regulations.
Be aware that if you have chosen to paint on a permanent number (contrary to Motorsport UK regs.), a scrutineer may ask you to cover this up, particularly if your number changes.
