20/21 September is the first time the CSCC has been invited to the Castle Combe Autumn Classic event, by all accounts this is an event not to be missed. It is just over two weeks away, so if you've yet to enter on either of our two grids, please do so before the price rises by £30 after this weekend.
Saturday 20th is an all 60's classic grid, comprised of three series, each with their own trophies: Ecurie Classic Racing, Norman Dewis Trophy and Midland Classic Restorations Classic K. We have 20 entered for this 40 minute, pit-stop race so far.

Sunday 21st is a grid of cars ranging from the 1960s through to as new as 1993: JMC Racing Special Saloons & Modsports, together with Advantage Motorsport Future Classics. The last time our Specials raced here was back in the first full year we revived them, 2012. The grid is into double figures, but we fully expect a good turn out for this one. These two sets of cars have raced together in the past with good success, whilst the Special Saloons & Modsports can be faster (on any tyre), the Future Classics have proved they can compete at both ends of the grid. The change of format, to 2 x 15 minute races still allows two drivers to share.

To make life easier for you, our Chief Scrutineer, Tony Harman, will be coming to you all in the paddock at the allotted time.
