Entries open tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd) at midday, for our scenic return to the Coastal layout, on 20th/21st July.
This year we return to our more usual race lengths (after having dabbled with the 24 hour event in 2023), on the popular Coastal course, featuring the 'Corkscrew'. We say the same thing each year. Members, if you have never raced here before, the extra drive for some of you is well worth the effort. Anglesey is a fabulous place to be, with a smooth, wide track, far reaching views and sandy beaches on the doorstep, should you want to bring family.
At 1.55 miles, it is a similar length to Silverstone National, but with a greater range of height and variety of corner.
A number of you have said that it's a long way to drive for a single race. Well, 99% of cars are eligible for at least two races, with those entering an additional category receiving a 50% refund on the cheapest entry. Simply enter and pay for both races and we will take care of the part refund shortly afterwards.
The nearest beach, good for rock pooling (to picture right, at low tide) and digging castles!
Testing, on Friday 19th July is available, by booking directly with the circuit. Compared to many other circuits, testing appears to be well priced, with sessions based on likely pace of car. https://angleseycircuit.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/general_testing_19_july_2024
Thanks to club members generous donations, every Marshal, Official and Volunteer will receive a £10 food and drink voucher. This is in addition to £20 cash per day to Marshals, to help contribute to their costs of attending.
Finally, take a look back at this short video, from 2022, when we last raced on the Coastal configuration.
