Two well-known names in Pre-1966 FIA Appendix K racing are combining for 2026 and beyond, Ecurie Classic Racing and the CSCC Classic K Series.
The new title is: CSCC Midland Classic Restorations Ecurie Classic K Series. A new logo and decal will complement the new partnership.

Creator of Ecurie Classic Racing, John Andon, together with his nephew Marwan, approached Chris Robinson, a Driver Representative for the CSCC, to form a combined grid at the 2025 Castle Combe Autumn Classic. This was highly successful, with a total of 39, stunning, pre-66 cars in action, leading to further discussion on a future together.
John Andon, founder of Ecurie Classic Racing, said “I am delighted to join forces with a well-run club where our drivers will feel immediately at home. The CSCC promotes fairness and expects high driving standards — values that have always been central to Ecurie Classic. We are looking forward to an excellent calendar and the chance for our drivers to enjoy new circuits and fresh challenges.”
CSCC Managing Director, David Smitheram added “Ecurie’s cars and drivers are a natural fit within Classic K’s existing classes, and look forward to welcoming them into the CSCC family. We are pleased that both John and Marwan will continue to race with us and contribute behind the scenes. Re-naming our long-established series was not a decision we took lightly, but we believe it is the right way to recognise John's contribution, now that Ecurie has become part of our series.”
Draft regulations will be published very soon, here: https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/classic-k
All drivers, including former Ecurie Classic Racing members, will be able to sign up for CSCC membership and Ecurie Classic K registration before Christmas.
