With regret our superb event at Spa Francorchamps is cancelled for 2020. The ongoing Coronavirus situation and specifically yesterday's statement by the Belgian government has meant that mass gatherings in Belgium up to the end of August (including sporting events) are unlikely.
As previously stated, our members interests are at the heart of what we do, therefore a full refund will be issued to those of you who have paid and entered for this event. It takes time to process refunds individually and we know that the banking process appears slower than usual, but we anticipate you will have monies back in your account within three weeks. Thank you for your patience whilst we waited to see if the event would proceed, thanks also to our team of UK marshals who volunteer to support us at this event each year. With this announcement we hope that you will be able to gain refunds for accommodation and transport across the channel.
Whilst this announcement is another blow to our racing hopes this season the CSCC team continues to plan and work towards getting you racing again later this season. Our second overseas round at Le Mans in October is still proceeding as planned.
Rest assured we will race again at Spa, in 2021!
