CSCC Marshals Fund

CSCC drivers in 2020 have so far personally donated £1480 to the CSCC Marshals Fund. This will be used at this weekend's Donington race meeting, to help pay for a bacon bap for breakfast, plus a lunch bag and drink, in addition to the £10 per day each volunteer always receives from the CSCC on arrival.

This goes some way towards saying thank you to the Marshals from the members themselves, especially in light of the longer timetable at Donington. We anticipate the Marshals will be both entertained and kept busy with the record grids entered!

We created the CSCC Marshals Fund at the beginning of this year to supplement the money the club itself has always donated.

The Classic Sports Car Club has also recently confirmed it will continue its sponsorship of the BMMC into 2021, its subsidy helping to supply marshal overalls once again at a 100% discount.

It is our intention that when things hopefully return to something resembling normality, that we can once again organise more social events for marshals at our race meetings, such as BBQ's and hog roasts, as well as encourage more of our competitors to spend a day out on the bank with the Orange Army at our meetings.

We at the CSCC would like to take this opportunity to thank more than 100 of its drivers who donated money to this worthy cause, and to all those marshals and officials who have supported the CSCC to get out on track this season.
