CSCC Jaguar Championship.

The Big Cats are back! Our Jaguar racing friends return to our race meetings in 2024, this time as a full CSCC championship. The home for almost all production-based Jaguars, they always put on a great show.

The former JEC Jaguar Saloon and GT Championship had been with the CSCC from the very start. With some regret, we mutually parted company at the end of the 2020 season, with many drivers staying on, racing within our Advantage Motorsport Future Classics and Modern Classics series. Fast forward a few years and a new opportunity to work together presented itself, after a positive driver vote. The existing sponsor has agreed to continue their support for the new season, making the official title the 'CSCC Berkshire Jag Components Jaguar Championship'.

An upswell of positive comments from competitors, including Driver Representative, James Ramm, requested that we bring back the popular Chris Robinson, as Championship Co-ordinator. With input from a working group of drivers, Chris has looked back at regulations that worked some years ago, with an aim to balance stability, with the ever changing development of the more modern V8 and Supercharged models. The mildly updated regulations ensure that whether you drive a classic XJ6 or XJS, through to the more modern XK8, S-Type, X300 and X-Type, we believe we now have solutions and an aim to rebuild grids over the coming years.

The double-header, 20-minute CSCC Jaguar Championship races will typically now enjoy an extra 5 minutes of qualifying time, with some meetings taking place on one day, on other occasions split over two days, as requested by the drivers.

A full calendar and draft regulations for the CSCC Berkshire Jag Components Jaguar Championship will be available shortly. We look forward to welcoming back all drivers as CSCC members. Look out for more updates shortly and please do add yourself to our new Facebook group and share a photo of your Jaguar: https://www.facebook.com/groups/csccjaguarchampionship/
