The CSCC has a history of taking its members abroad. A trip to Daytona Speedway in Florida to take part in the Anglo-American Challege races was the first opportunity for members to race abroad in November 2007. Following this success, a 2nd trip to the legendary Daytona Speedway came at the end of the 2009 season, giving many members the racing experience of a lifetime. We have also been fortunate enough to race at the historic Nurburgring in Germany from 2007 through to 2011. Since 2007 we have been making an annual trip to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. 2018 saw the club round off the season with a visit to Magny-Cours to race around the French ex F1 circuit. In 2019, alongside our annual visit to Spa, we made the trip to Dijon-Prenois in France with separate grids for Classic and Modern cars. The highlight of the 2020 season will be a visit to the Bugatti circuit at Le-mans, a first for a UK club to offer all of it's members the opportunity to race at this historic circuit.
Le Mans Bugatti - 16th-18th October 2020
New for 2020 is the addition of racing on the Le Mans Bugatti circuit. We will have 2 grids separating the Classic and Modern cars, with each grid featuring a format similar to that of the UK races.
Requirements - In order to join us at Le Mans, competitors must hold a minimum of a 'National' Race licence and we ask that you compete in at least two rounds prior to Le-Mans.
Spa Francorchamps - 25-28th June 2020
Every year since 2007 the CSCC has raced at Spa Francorchamps, increasing the number of members it has taken every year. The Spa Summer Classic is a superb event with an atmosphere unmatched anywhere else.
Racing at Spa offers more track time than our UK races whilst keeping to a similar format. Entries may be either single driver, two drivers sharing a single car, or a two car team racing in relay. Many members camp at the circuit and the price per race is actually cheaper than our UK rounds! If you haven't ever raced at Spa you must add it to your wish list!
Requirements - In order to join us at Spa, competitors must hold a minimum of a 'National' Race licence and we ask that you compete in at least two rounds prior to Spa.
